The 3477 to which you refer is that of a v6 convertible with a manual transmission.

A GT vert either automatic or manual falls in the 3600 range. Harrison's links are very helpful. See information on page 28 of the first link. It is the sales bible for ford salespeople. Plus, the data is for base models.
