Stock RWHP #'s

With Flowmasters welded in and a drop in K&N my wife's old 99 GT Auto made 216hp/256tq running a best of 14.5@95 with a 2.2 60'. Adding an o/r h-pipe, K&N FIPK, Accufab 75mm t-body & plenum, and a 91 octane tune, the car made 245hp/271tq and ran a best of 13.9@99 with a 2.2 60'. 29hp and 15tq and a .6 1/4 mile time reduction for a total of $750... not bad imo.

No dyno numbers for her 02 GT 5-speed yet, but BONE STOCK it ran a 14.2@99 with a 2.2 60'. With an 89 octane tune, K&N FIPK, and the Accufab stuff it's gone a best of 13.8@101 with a 2.0 60'. 13's are very possible on a stock 99-04 GT as long as you can get traction and know how drive.

Traction is pretty good now that I have 315's on there. B4 with the old wornout 245's I could burn them for 5-10 feet on a 2nd gear shift but now all I get is a loud chirp. So I guess 13's are attainable with a stocker. I'll have to put my Tri-ax on first and try some powershifting.

well replace the prochamber and catback with pi heads and it actually sort of makes sense, considering you both have autos and you have 2/3 of the swap

I was planning on boosting it so I didn't want the heads. I'm now just done with the car more than likely and am saving up for a Cobra. GT's too much of a waste of $$ to mod right now.

I thought Laser had a 5 speed stock too...hmm
