On second thought, painting chromed spinner rims was probably a good idea - not so much for looks but because it de-values them a lot. So if/when you do sell them at any point later on, you might want to try to find a way to remove the paint without damaging the chrome underneath, because the crowd that digs those kinds of wheels probably won't see the half-painted look as being cool. Just a thought.

dude please get rid of the getto wheels..they really make that car look UGLY

Dude.. stop being such a tool.. seriously...

thats what im saying regardless of the wheels and whatever, its a clean well maintained car, and I can appriciate that alone. I love the paintjob too along with the headlights and I usually dont like the smoked lights. I think painting the wheels or at least half of them black was a good choice as well.

+1

Althought im not a fan of the rims, I think painting them made the overall apperience better.. Great job, the stang looks real nice and best of all its origional and its YOUR car!!! :nice: kudos on a sweet ride!

C'mon - it's not like nobody has ever not put down someone's car because it had large wheels on it. It wasn't that long ago someone had 20" Cobra Rs, someone from Canada, and it went into a 3+ page thread just bashing him

Everyone just wants to pick on Ryan nowadays

yea sorry bout that just having a rough day at work! Sometimes tho, comments are better left unsaid.. people (including myself) do not like those style rims, but it doesnt give me the right to say his car is getto just because i dont like it? i guess there are exceptions to that in any case, but in this case it is a well taken care of car.

They're called ghetto cause thats where you would usually see them, on a $600 beater selling crack out the window, not on an otherwise really nice car. Get to see lots of them, working road construction in Chicago. Saw a really cool set last week, on a mid 80's Buick Regal, in our construction zone. Front drivers side had fallen/ ripped off, gone under the car at what must have been 30 mph, tore the whole drivers side up real bad. The lady behind this genious then slammed into the suddenly stopped Regal, destroying it, too. Once the paving crew saw no one was injured, they could't stop laughing. Neither could I, for that matter. Those rims are a dangerous fad, like those real wide ones used to be. Can't wait for that to leave. Some 17 inch Foose rims, and thats one bad motor scooter!:nice:

couldnt stop laughing from 5.0 con-verts post lol.. but thanks for the compliments guys. i know some wont like my particular taste but its all good. cant hurt to hear other peeps opinions. and of course i love postin pics of my car like everyone else hehe

Honestly i can't stand the wheels....not just because they're on a 'stang, i just don't like anything that's overly large in comparison to the car it's one (if that makes sense). I can handle 20s on a big Cadi or something, but i can't stand these Donk things you see rolling around.

That said though...who cares what i think? It's not my car right? Besides, some of you guys busting his balls...i hate to tell ya but his car is nicer than yours..lol.
