Whats a good after market distributor for the 5.0? What distributor do you guys use?

i have an MSD pro billet dizzy...Has been pretty good to me untill the pick up coil gave out on it. I didn't know what was the problem so i had the module tested and it came back fine. I had to call msd tech line and they asked me what was going on and they said it was the pickup coil..6 dollars later and she was running like a champ.

Unless you're spinning high RPM, the stocker does well for many.

I haven't come across an aftermarket piece that seemed really awesome.

I just shipped my 6 month old MSD back to the retailer with a bad PIP sensor...gonna give MSD one more shot and if it craps out again, gonna try a Billitech.

I had no issues with my MSD stuff but I did have issues with the Holley brand dizzy. I like my MSD piece. But as stated if you know what to do with dizzy's then the stock piece can be used to get you great times.

It lets you know if Gladys' friends are in the area.

Or it might be a sensor in the base of the dizzy which relates piston-displacement to the computer (where the pistons are, so it can fire spark and fuel at the right time). Kinda important.
