So on Saturday we were among the last people to leave Kidd Valley. About 8:00 I looked around and I was standing there with Bill, Dennis and other Bill and all of us own Fox-bodies. A few minutes later, two other guys that just happened to be passing by pulled in with their two Foxes and came over and introduced themselves: Eric and Ben. So there we were, Dave, Bill, Bill, Dennis, Eric and Ben with six Foxes at Kidd Valley. It would've made a pretty cool picture if the cars had been parked right.

Anyway, this gave me an idea: Would any of you be interested in a "Fox-body only" cruise later this summer? I was thinking maybe a back road run up through Skagit County and up Chuckanut to Boomer's Drive-in in Bellingham? Or I'm open to other suggestions. It would have to be in the second half of August or sometime in September, but if there's interest I'll set it up.

Let me know.

Fox body: Never out of style.

I'll be up there for the wkend of the Round Up. How's about the Saturday afternoon/evening before the peoples show on Sunday?

No can do on Round-up weekend, but I'd suggest that you hit the Kidd Valley Cruise-in in north Seattle that night. There should be a LOT of folks there that night.

As far as my schedule goes, it will have to be mid-August or later. I'm bouncing around a couple of ideas, but they are all going to be from Seattle north.

:( Man I miss bellingham...its hard to believe its been almost a year since I moved. The funny thing is I could'nt find a fox body to save my life when I lived up there. All the ones I did find were 4 bangers or hunks of crap. :bang: If it wouldnt cost me $80 in gas to and from I would be there in a heart beat...

Kidd Valley is a drive-in in north Seattle. In my opinion the food is on a par with Red Robin. The manager and his wife own two Mustangs, host the event evey Saturday night at 6:00 and even offer Stangers a 10% discount on food. So no, we don't get hassled or run off. Last week an SPD cruiser even came by to look at the cars and visit with us for a while.

As far as where it is, like I said, its in north Seattle. From I-5 north bound, take the NE145th Street exit. Turn left on 145th and go about a mile to Aurora Ave North. Turn left on Aurora and KV is a block down on the right.

I say sence alot of Oregon guys are wanting to cruise we should find a cruise futher south. I beleave Kidd Valley is in seattle, and there talking about a cruise futher north by about an hour. I say If we can get this many of us together why do we do a st. hellens run. Washington and Oregon people meet at the Mc' D's in centraila and go down south to the 504, then hit up the 505 all the way to the top. There's killer straights and twisties. Just my 2 cents, make it an equal drive for everyone just about.
