I am going through the same thing. Every symptom I can I have read about points my problem to MAF!
I will run with my IAC DISCONNECTED, and the idle hangs at 1200. No air leaks whatsoever!
Driving around normally works ok, it feels down on power for normal driving. But when you get on it the car will hit a certain RPM and completely shut down. The check engine will come on real quick, but then go away and then the car comes back to life.
The throttle body is closing fully and not sticking. When you disconnect the car when the MAF is running the car dies instantly if it is up to normally operating temp. Under norm (closed/open loop - not sure which is which) temp the maf can be disconnected and it will idle good.
The IAC has been changed with numerous known good ones.
I'm going to replace my o2 sensors and fuel filter.
