Pics from the Buckeye Stangs Summit Racing show... 56K-go have a snickers

I cruised up to Summit Racing in Tallmadge, OH yesterday with a few local guys to check out the show. Really nice show in a great location with lots of shady spots, great cars and its always nice to have a car guy's candy store on location! Here are the pics, enjoy:

the "transformer" was absolutely disgusting... i felt like i was playin NFS: Underground or somethin lol...

i could see why the other guy won best of show, but i still think less is more...

completely OT but Dan, u got 1 inch spacers in the rear? did u have to roll ur fenders? im thinkin of puttin a spacer in the back and runnin 305s next summer... gonna run Nittos all around...

The mustang that won best of show has the N2O bottles upside down which I thought was something that you should never do:shrug: Oh and are those deep dish bullitts gunmetal or hyperblack on the red 99-04 GT?

Yes the guy was an idiot, the pickup tubes for those bottles would see VERY little, if any, nitrous...more money than brains.

The DD bullitts are black chrome finish...had me thinkin too, cuz they look damn good

I noticed the nitrous bottles too. Should have asked him how much he's sprayed the car. Just to hear his story of god like power. I doubt he even drives it.

I went to a big mustang show in Eureka Springs, AR many moons ago. I have never been to a car show before or since that time that the crowd actually BOOOed the awards ceremony. :o

One of the classic categories, gave an award to a car that couldn't be driven. There was no oil in the engine, and the tires still had stickers on the face of them. It was dollied in and out of a truck and hauled from car show to car show. It was basically a 1:1 scale model car. LOL

There was also a car there with a wicked paint job on it. They used the saran wrap technique in the pearls. Sure it wasn't perfect, as they DROVE the car, so any touch ups were noticeable. But everyone was impressed.

The judges gave BEST PAINT to a car that had temp tags on it. It was a V6 straight from the dealership THAT DAY. The cheapest base car you could get. Even had hubcaps. He just entered the show for the same reason I did. You had to enter the show to drive on the cruise.

I saw that car at the Super Summit IV show at Tallmadge in July! Those rims look even more AMAZING in person on a red car! I'm pretty sure the rims are 18"x9" up front & 18"x10" out back. I almost ordered a set for my Atlantic Blue SN95, but thought the dark rims on a dark car would be a bit too much (instead, I ordered deep dish argent 17"x10.5's" :p ). If I owned a red or silver Mustang, those black chrome rims would be on the car...period. :nice:
