My car has a really bad vibration when at idle, doesn't make a difference if in park or in neutral, still shakes. Didn't know if anyone had any sugestions. Also car seems not to have the reponse it did before this problem started. The only thing I could think of was motor supports or trans supports? Any info would be appreciated

no physical inspection yet but checked while holding the brake in drive and reving and no out of the ordinary twisting of the engine, going to check my HB as I found alot of people with the same problem. Thanks also looked at the trans while idling and doesn't seem to be moving at all

Good thinking! I sell 302 ad 351 balancers quite a bit at my store.

I just diagnosed my rough idle finally and it was the balancer. I kept thinking ignition components and then I did a 4 liter Mountaineer balancer at work because of the same exact symptoms... :bang: Then I go home and sure enough, rubber crapped out on the balancer. Now I just need to find a replacement...

I got the Pioneer industries from Advance I read a couple other people used that one and had no problems. Probably change to a Romac or Heavy Duty one once I put the turbo set up on still trying to piece it together

Im building a 351 over the winter and Ill only be driving the car another month or so so Im probably just going to get a stock replacement through work and save the extra money and put it toward the 351. Ive heard that the stock ones are a little less than quality. Just cant justify spending two hundred dollars or more on one for a months worth of use, ya know.
