I have a 07 GT with a 3.55 rear and a Shaker Scoop. I was wondering what I can do to mod this (keeping the warranty and not blowing a ton of money). I read somewhere that i can put a cold air intake on this with the shaker scoop. Which ones would you guys suggest. Also, I was looking at the pypes exhaust midpipes system. How much HP am i looking at with these mods and will it be a problem that this is a Virginia car (emissions).

Also, what is involved with an engine flash. Do I have to take this to someone? Should I have had this done when the Shaker was installed (installed at dealer when purchased)

Thanks for any info that you guys may have.

I have an '05 GT with the CDC Shaker and a K&N Cold Air intake. K&N Says that no flash is needed and my car does run fine without flashing, but I also use a Predator and have a performance tune in my car. (Also a Va. Car)

To direct the cold air from my shaker to the aftermarket K&N intake I had to fabricate a few things but it was no really big deal. I have a series of before, during and after pics of my Shaker install, and the fabrication / modifications I made to make the shaker very functional.

Unfortunatly I have only figured out how to load one thumbnail sized photo at a time at this forum. If you email me I would be happy to send them, to you if you're interested.

dpk136, the exhaust will not net much power increase, but will give alot of sound. The only ways to add decent power is by changing to an O/R midpipe(hi flow midpipes will add sound, keep you emissions legal, but only add a few horsepower as the stock one flows pretty well)and/or ditching the factory exhaust manifolds.
A tuner will fix you up pretty nicely. I don't believe you needed a retune after the shaker install as it still flows through the stock air box and MAF sensor. If you get a CAI kit, get the tuner at the same time. That can net you in the neighborhood of 30 RWHP.
