??? BEST CLUTH FOR STREET / STRIP ???

stock motor???you need to list upgrades? so we can determine your horse power, unless you know your horse power then list numbers....but for stock or upgraded up to 400 horse power i would recommend a king cobra clutch...

King Cobra's are nice, Centerforce Dual Fritction are really nice, and I really love my Spec stage II. The Centerforce DF and Spec II are going to be a little beefier and hold up to more power/aggressive launches. But i have heard of numerous people launching of the limiter on slick with the king cobra too! So I would say choose between those three.

I have had the King Cobra and a Centerforce Stage II.

The CF was softer and holds more power for sure.

Depends on your horsepower goals...

I personally like to get something a bit beefier than a King Cobra if you got a car with more than 300rwhp...

It is a good bang for the buck clutch:nice:

Stupid question , but when you are doing your clutch do you need to buy the whole kit or just the clutch? I am re-building my tranny soon and i figured i woulod do the clutch while i am under there.

Most clutches come as a kit with the clutch disc, diaphragm, throwout bearing, and pilot bearing. Buying just the clutch disc is an unwise way to go, generally speaking, because the other parts are likely just as worn (or more so) as the disc, and you may as well change those things out while you've got your car strewn apart in the middle of what amounts to a procedure on the scale of open-heart surgery. :)
