TACH INSTALl ON 96 GT

i havent gotten my tach yet but im just wondering how you go about hooking a tach up in a 96 gt with coil packs?

on my 1996, I just went into the insturment cluster harness. thers a terminal there for power, light, tach and ground.
took all of @30 mins to hook-up

+1 thats what i did to.. just probe around with the car running to find the wire.. i dont think you can fry anything..

not off hand, there was a write-up on this over at the Corral from when I did this way back in 1997, might still be there or when I go home tonight, I could dig-out my EVTM and pull some wire colors for you

the tach wire behimd the cluster is tan in color and is on the right side of the cluster pig tale. splice it and connect it
