I wish some of the previous owners of either of my Mustangs had done that. I've never had the cup holder adapter in my 'stangs. If it comes out as easily as the ones in my Focus do, then I can understand having them turn up on the bottom of a McDonald's cup, once you're already in the house and in front of the computer again. Hence the cup holder right next to me. It would be nice to shift into 2nd without knocking the lid off of a cup.

If i have a cup bigger than a coke can i have to be VERY careful when shifting, 2nd gear goes right into the damn cup!! But i try not to leave a food establishment with a full beverage in my car anyway.

^good rule to have. i have the fold up cup holder too. cheap piece of plastic can't hold anything that has a larger diameter than a coke can...
