Two Questions;
What are the plastic "blocks" in back of the rear wheels for???
Can speedometer mileage registers be altered??

are you talking about odometer fraud??? it is possible but i'm not going to tell you how to change it. that would just be wrong

as for the blocks, i believe they are charcol canisters

No, My friend recently purchased a 98 gt and the odometer figures are not all that aligned, we were wondering if it was possible to "jimmy" them to set the indicated mileage lower?
The boxes I meant are smaller than the charcoal container and are to the rear of each rear wheel, supported by a small square tube to the rear bumper.

are you talking about rubber rear axle travel limiters above the rear axles??? If so, they limit the amount of upward travel if you hit a severe bump, to prevent the tires from hitting the wheel wells or the shocks from being damaged on over-compression...

I would say they prevent the quarter panels from popping the tires in an accident.

i just dont think this is the right place to be telling people how to change mileage. yes it is possible and especially with the non digital ones it is VERY simple
