Will a Eaton M90 work a 4.6? If so what parts will be needed to make the supercharger work? I've been running across a lot of good deals on M90's.
Thanks

Thanks. I'm looking for entry level power. I don't want to spend a ton of money on something like a KB.You'd have to get pretty custom with the manifold and pulley system. As someone who has a kit that utilizes an Eaton M90S on their 4.6L I'd suggest if you're going to go custom, go with at least an M112 or one of the higher regarded Twin Screws (Autorotor/Lysholm). The M90's is good for making entry level power levels (300-350rwhp), but you'll run out of breath in a hurry if you make an attempt to overspin it.
There were a couple of nice "Twin" M90 set up's I've seen, which would be a nice compromise between lower ACT's and increased air volume, but it's gonna take some work. Click on "MY GARAGE" under my username to see what might be envolved in building your own kit.

What would be the best choice for me along the lines of an M90, that will be more or less straight bolt on? Would a Cobra M112 be an easier install, what mods would be required?
Thanks again.
If you are looking for a straight bolt-on kit utilizing an M90 than I would look out for used Series I and II Saleen kits (Series II preferably). These kits use M90's made for 4.6 2v GT's. Otherwise you would end up needing to undergo some fabrication with a different style M90 other than the Saleen kit.Thanks. I'm looking for entry level power. This looks like exactly what I want. The price is very right. If low dollar entry level is what you're looking for, check out the FRPP unit. It utilizes a non-intercooled version of the Eaton M112, is compact in design and will make decent power with a few bolt ons. http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=5290 You may still have to get custom with a few parts.

Will it fit under my stock hood? How much horsepower can I gain?
I've been seeing a few M90's on eBay. Under $500 for the blower. For that price he can buy almost any s/c kit. He's on a budget...
So GA_Stang, how much are these "deals" going to run you? You can get some really good prices ($1500-$2000 compared to $3500+ new) on COMPLETE centri kits on ebay.

I'm not sure what you just said there?I think its funny b/c the v6 guys have got to all of this b/f the big 4.6L crowd.
Look again.....the Ford Racing kit I posted about utilizes an M112.Theres still no kit for the m112 for the sohc 4.6L.
