After Market Fuel Rail Install

Picked up a Performance Products Fuel rail kit.

Will be running 255LH fuel pump for this 347 stroker.

The kit only comes with screw in nipples to hook up to rubber fuel lines.

What's the best or acceptable way to mate this system with the stock fuel line/return connectors.

I'm Keeping fuel lines from tank to engine compartment stock.

Thanks in advance.

take the old rails cut off the connector ends of it and attach about a 3 inch piece of rubber fuel line to the new rails then slid it ove the exposed metal tube of the old rail. and put about 3 clamps on each attachment to hold the added psi of a EFI car. just try to eliminate as much rubber between the new rails and the old ones.

let me know if this came out clear to you. if it didnt i will ms-paint a diagram for you. :nice:

Cutting the metal line and using rubber hoses with hose clamps is kind of half assing it. If you dont use the pieces in the link, then get some fittings and some braided steel fuel line, cut off the stock metal fuel line spring locks, slip on a fitting, flair the end of the metal line, and screw in the braided metal line.

Yep... those are the poop. :nice:

IIRC there are two sizes. You'll need one of each.
