Where are your parts made?

I like to keep the money I spend here in the USA, as much as possible. I think it would be nice to see a list of parts made here at home, in the USA. Maybe some of the sponsors could help. Even make a sticky out of it.

The C&L stuff is made here, and I think that SCT stuff is US made also.:nice:

Thanks for any help with this!
Dave.

Sadly, a domestic car does not necessarily mean all the parts are manufactured here. Conversely, some Toyotas are put together in California last time I heard. Correct me if I'm wrong. My rims were manufactured in China. My grille was made in Southern California. It's a world economy.

Slightly off topic but a higher end stereo company Rotel started having their gear manufactured in China but the prices did not go down. Bigger $$ margin.

Ford had just recieved an award back in the summer for using over 70% of american parts in thier cars and trucks. I agree, I buy american when ever possible. If I didn't, I might as well have just bought a civic from the get go. "O YEAH", I just saw a civic wrapped up by a stang lastnight on pinks. The civic broke an axle on the 3rd run. The stang won the prior 2. They really didn't want the civic, said they would sell it.

there is one company that comes to mind. they are a little behind the power curve as far as new mustang parts, but they are a fast charger in the market. look at Edelbrock, Vic Edelbrock prides himself on having all of his stuff made in the USA. i even think my old manifold said Made In the USA. good luck.

blame it on the consumer ....... :flag:

who is forever chasing the cheapest price to his own disadvantage.

We as consumers do have a choice, but it is very slim pickings when it comes to products assembled in the US with US parts. The problem is the higher ups of the companies making umpteen squillion dollars a year with astronomical stock portfolios that could buy continents. If they would just come down even just a little from the high and mighty throne it would be better for our country. Sad to say, but I can't really blame them if you can make a product using another countries parts in yet another country and make "X" more money opposed to if it was all US. If consumers could just hunker down and take a stand against those ideas we would see more 100% US products, but our society is spiraling out of control.:(

To those of you who listed any aftermarket parts made here in the USA thank you. I'm sure the list could be much longer if people would stay on topic.

To those who chose to give a lecture on this being a world economy, why did you bother to even respond?
