How do you make your car drive well in the snow? I have 200lbs of gravel in my trunk and KDWS's all around and I get stuck everywhere

I drive an 01 Honda Accord 4dr 4cly. It's getting quite beat up, but runs well after a new (free) transmission from Honda. I'd love to sell the stang for a year round car, heh.

How do you make your car drive well in the snow? I have 200lbs of gravel in my trunk and KDWS's all around and I get stuck everywhere

You have too much wieght in the car, jump back to 50-100 lbs. Also I suggest kitty litter, sand, or ice melt instead of gravel, that way if you get stuck you have a material to get you unstuck, gravel gets slick and won't help.

Oh and turn traction control OFF except when traveling high speeds continuosly

Also I'm running Blizzak WS-50's and have never gotten stuck... Colorado is very hilly and the county guys don't do the best job on the roads.
