I HAVE HAGERTY INSURANCE NOW AND ITS TIME TO RENEW.THEY WANT 350 A YR. FOR 20000 COVERAGE.AMERICAN WILL GIVE ME THE SAME COVERAGE FOR 160.00 HAS ANYOE USED THEM? THANKS

I have had my car insured with them since the day I bought the car 11 years ago. The PO was an old guy and he was also happy with them,so I went with them as well and have been with them ever since.
I have not had any incidents with the car so at this point they have been very easy to deal with. I do need to increase the coverage on my car since I now have a lot into it.

Will American cover you on everyday driving like Haggerty? I've looked at cheaper providers before, like Grundy, and they only cover the car to and from shows, club meetings, or parts runs. For example if I had Grundy's and went to the grocery store for milk and got in an accident I wouldn't be covered.
