Hubcentric Adapters?

Hi all, I got these 18" bullitt wheels and they're not hubcentric.

I heard you can buy these little rings that go inside the hub "hole" of the rim, which turns them into hubcentric rims.

Anyone knows where I can buy these? Are they all the same size? Or is this something i need to measure?

I appreciate any help cause right now my rims are running as lugcentric and I'm not too comfortable with that.

When i bought a set of wheels from TireRack.com they included a set of plastic rings that went on before the wheels did and they referred to them as hub centric spacers. They actually disinigrated over about 4 years time.

You could probably contact them and see if they will sell you a set. I believe they were made by Gorilla or something like that.

They were chrome wheels so i used to take them off a few times a year to really polish them up and after a few years i noticed they were falling apart and deteriorating. They were only a thin piece of plastic though. I drove a year without them and noticed no difference.

i think you will be alright without em, not many wheels actually sit on the ridge.. my enkei's dont, nor my truck rims that are 5 lug.

Yup, I got 18" deep-dish bullitts, and they're not hubcentric.

I heard about them from a local car club, and I was told they were metal, so they would desintegrate like plastic.

And no, they're not like the ones in photos, those are spacers, I'm refering to simply the ring portion.

I'm just not sure which one I should order, the ones on ebay are for Mustang fox bodies.

I bought some Konig wheels last year from Discount Tire. They came with hub centric rings. JEGs has a bunch of different sizes.

they are not really necessary. our cars use the lug nuts to center the wheels

I hear that lug-centric rims are not very safe for cars that are pushed hard (ie. road racing and stuff), so that's where my concern is.
