What's a good performing all-season tire?

I need tires again. My Bridgestone Potenza S-03's are nearing the end of their life (actually..just the rears are)

I'm going again and going to bujy my first set of NON- summer performance tires. I'm just sick of tires that don't grab under 40 degrees.

So..normal size 245/45/17, nothing super expensive. Let's say $200/tire is my limit. I only need two right now.

I have a set of Fusions that I use when my DR are not on and they do pretty good, I think there not to expensive maybe 70 to 120 a tire, its been about 6-8 months since I bought so really can't remember.

yup yup. I had these on the Audi and they were phenomenal but it may have been part to do with the Quattro system aswell though.

The fiance has the Potenzas on hers and I can't wait to get rid of those pieces of garbage.

Greta performance and rain tire but man do they suck at cold temps.


I autocrossed on mine and they always held and were predictable when they lost grip. Of course that might be why my front tires rounded over on the edges and need to be replaced now

I cant remember if they are listed as an all season, but they have a more all season tread to them, and they do well in the rain.

These are my front tires only, stock size but they work great. I got them $88/tire from Tirerack.

Nitto 555 Extreme Performance 245/45/17 should do you wonders. good rain grip, awesome dry traction.

Ive found that I would rather deal with summer tires in the winter
than winter tires in the summer....... but this is Texas.

I've been very happy with my budget tires I put on the car while I'm trying to sell it. Fuzion HRi's....they are like $80 a tire lol...hook in 2nd...and show ZERO signs of wear after 3k miles or so of driving haha.

I have Nitto 555's on my 04 and I love them.
The 90 has Fuzion ZRi's on it and they are very good tires for the money, they were dirt cheap.
