Well my 96 sold today

Dude came and picked it up and I had to drive his Kia back to his house 90 miles away :( At first I thought the chitty thing would be driving the Kia but following my baby for that whole drive sucked. Sometimes I forgot how good she looked. Well shes gone and im upset about it but at least the car I was trying to get was still avaliable so I drove it back home. Some of you know what it is but most dont :D
I will try and get some pics tomorrow after I clean it if it does not rain
I was really bummed after dropping off the car and driving over to the new car but as soon as I saw it in person I was alot happier and after the drive home I see my new purchase is pretty sound.

So for now all I will say is it has less miles and its interior is far better ....... and it was less than half the cost of the Cobra and has ALMOST the same engine

Eh, cars come and go.
Always sucks when you have to let them go but as they say, when one door closes another one always seems to open ;)
Can't wait to see the pics.
Just don't be going and slamming it into any walls now :D

The 97-98's have an engine more closely resembling the 99/01 Cobra engine..at least the intake does. They also have a Teksid block.

A set of 4.30's and limited slip, a tune, and some pullies and intake mods and they are a solid 13 second car. I used to love beating Mustangs with mine. I could hang on the tail of a PI GT from a roll. It was a beast from 50-120MPH with the 3.08's. I ran a 14.9 bone stock...but that was with a 1-wheel peel off the line on crappy tires and stock 3.08's.

Plus the interiors of these cars are cozy as hell. the seats are awesome! I used to love gettin in my car after a long day of work.
