I have a 99 GT with a few bolt ons. I have a diablo sport predator programmer for it. We have the timing up as far as it will go. But when i do a live data log, it shows that the timing is about 39-41 cruising at low rpm, but when i hammer down on it the timing will stay at about 25. This doesnt seem like enough timing.

are you getting detonation? it sounds like marbles or sand going down your exaust and the car wont have much power. if its not detonating I would leave it alone. I know people used to have detonation issues with diablos tunes a long time ago did you buy the tuner used?

Yes i bought it used. It's not detonating at all. But im trying to get it run at it's full potential.

It sounds to me like you have advanced it too far through out the timing spectrum. I found this out the hard way and actually lost power due to it and motor was pinging really bad. My SCTX3 has 3 different RPM ranges for timing adjustment and I set mine to advance at 2* then 1* then no adjustment on the 3rd and it is definetly the sweet spot for mine. I had it first set at 4*, 4* and 2* and it pinged like crazy. Try it and see what happens.

if you really want it to run at it best you need a dyno tune. but as stated it sounds like you have gone too far. I would start back from square one.

haha, if i had went to far the car would be pinging. The car is not pinging at all. The more i up the timing the better it runs, but ive run out of timing adjustment on the programmer
