Walter, I can't find the BURN MP3 CD function in Nero 7. Is it found in Nero 8 or newer?
I recommend the XP built-in function because most people will have this and I haven't run into any problems with my Shaker 500. In fact, I started burning CDs this way for my Aiwa MP3 CD player (in the 2000 Vic) and it has solved the skipping issue as well.

Metroplex I got Nero 6 an older version. What I do to get to it is start Nero Express and follow the prompt. Select CD/RW on top instead of DVD/RW and from the Music option there should be MP3 Disk option and go with that.

Like i said it works wonders on my Shaker 500 I've never heard anything skip.
