exhaust cut out on v6

has anyone installed an exhaust cut out on their v6?
I was thinking the one by qtp that is electronically controlled...
Can i do this without a tune?

a tune is not needed, but i advise against this mod.. it just wont sound good.

It will sound horrible. I know. My girlfriend has a 06 4.0 that has had a million different exhaust systems and I've started it with no muffler and it's a horrible sound.

Idk I was planning on installing this single Flowmaster exhaust on my v6 but I've been told by local muffler shops to buy a Borla Dual Exhaust System.
