What's the best sounding exhaust system for the SN95 body style GT? Currently running Flowmaster original 40 series. Sounds ok but I want something more deeper and more aggressive.

add a o/r H pipe and it will change you !

If all you care about is performance then get Magnaflows, if all you care about is sounds then it really is a matter of personal choice. Check out youtube for some ideas.

dont get me wrong, i think flows sound good too, but theres just somthing about mac FLOWPATHS!!!!!, you can feel the rumble in your chest

I went the other way. I had MAC and ditched them to go flowmasters. MUCH better tone IMHO.

I now have flows on both my Mustangs.


If you want some more sound, put an O/R h-pipe on.

Also, a little more extreme, but a PI swap would change the tone of the exhaust a little bit as well. The PI cars sound a lot more aggressive with any exhaust than the NPI cars

My notchback has a 4.6L 2V engine in it. I have stock manifolds, BBK o/r H-pipe and a MAC cat-back with 3-1/2 tips. The rest is 2-1/2" Car made 240RWHP and 283 RWTQ with those being the only mods.
