Question on Nitrous Kit

NOS has a similar system that uses the 10oz bottles. I thought about getting it and trying it before but never did. i wouldn't see why it wouldn't work on your car. just make sure you have the extra fuel

Thats why I was curious about it, because it says for returnless fuel system cars. Ours has a return system. And since its a dry shot where am I going to get the extra fuel from?

The extra fuel comes from increased pressure at the rail. Instead of your stock 39.5PSI, the nitrous kit will boost the pressure to about 55 PSI while you are activating it.

Your injectors will need to be able to support your engine's HP, plus the shot size in HP, at 55PSI.

the nos and zex kits add the pressure to the rail. im not familiar with the zex kit but its the same concept. on my nos kit there is a vacuum tee setup that puts pressure on the regulator when the system is activated. no aftermarket regulator. i dont think you will keep the 50 shot for long. ask anyone with nitrous. you will want more.

On a $$ to power basis...get a regular kit. I have about half that in my kit and I can spray 50,75,100,125,150, and 175 worth of n2o.

A 50hp shot is really not going to do a whole lot either. Probably around .4 gain in the 1/4.

Worst case get a regular kit and if you want to "hide" the smaller bottle for the "ease" of it, run it to the small bottle you buy separate...then point out the fact you do not have your bottle hooked up when pointing to the trunk with no bottle in it. You should always be able to hook up the smaller bottle if you want to be tricky.

Well I dont really want to run nitrous on my car. This is just... well we arent going to talk about that, lol. But anyways think the 50shot would be safe for a few shots as long as i have everything hooked up right?

A 100-125 shot is safe with everything hooked up correctly.

A 50 shot with things setup correctly would be no different than running a little bit better H/I/C setup...probably not even alum. heads either.

Its just the cost of those 50hp for what you get will limit you. I am not even sure if most shops that refill n2o will really like filling up the small bottle. You could get a used ZEX, N.O.S., Compucar, or NX kit for about what that little thing will cost you. You will still need some safety stuff like a window switch either way so...that is my point. $400 for 50hp and for a short time or $400 for 50,75,100hp for a MUCH longer time just as safe

But yes that kit setup correctly will not harm anything.

If it is hiding it there are plenty of tricks and the biggest part is under the hood and you will have to hide that no matter what.
