I just ordered a vortech t-trim kit from modular powerhouse. Does anybody have any suggestions or hints to the install? I plan on doing most of the work myself the installation instructions look pretty straight foward.

Also what elce should I do for a good efficient car? Catchcans? and is there any way to go with a FMIC without modding the bumper support?

I dont think i am going to be able to wait for this kit!!

It is a pretty simple install. We installed mine with a lift which helped out a lot and it took us like 4hrs to do it.

For the FMIC just pick up the paxton one or you can do a DIY from Ebay. I went with the Paxton and it was cake.

when i installed my procharger the gt fuel pump was an unexpected hassel. I had to remove the actual electric pump from the gt housing and transfer it to the mustang housing and make my own electrical connection to the new pump, which is wired in the reverse of the mustang pump. also dont rush! its easy to get excited and rush, try not to.

As for a front mount, my kit came with a nice 3 core "race" intercooler. it fits in there with no modification to the car. i didn't even have to take off the bumper cover. get a procharger intercooler and make it work with your blower using various elbows and pipes.

installing the fuel pump was the easiest part of my vortech install. especially if you get a focus pump. the trick is to have no more then 1/4 of a tank.
