u all are still making excuses i don't care if the patriots had 15 starters out it isn't the jets fault they play who is on the field. and don't start the woulda coulda shoulda cause thats just a bunch of bs. also i am a packers fan but i love brett favre and the jets are doing better then the packers so i gotta have some team i can use to smack talk lol.

anywho u patriots fans will make excuses all year and i might to if i was a pats fan but u play who is on the field and a win is a win.

Look at us Pats fans.. Brady is gone, but we're still sticking with our team. We're not pulling for another team bc they're doing better. This guy is a terrible excuse for a fan.

I'm a Cardinals fan, but a big-time A-Rod fan. The Cardinals SUCKED in '07, while the Yankees were much better; however I didn't switch to being a Yankees fan just bc of that, give me a break. Stick with the team you like, not a team that is doing better.

Next thing we know, he's going to be a Titans and Giants fan.

and yes, i am a huge Pats fan. Good to see so many brotherin here. I truly thought the season ended about 2 hours into the season this year. But, the "hoodie" has a plan, and it may be an evil plan, but as long as it ends up with the Pats in the playoffs and a chance for another ring, it is a great plan. But please, give Mr. Cassel a bunch of practice stretching the field to Moss. I think they should be throwing the long ball at least once every 2 sets of downs. As we saw last week with the J*E*T*S (suck suck suck) teams are beginning to stop covering that route cause they aren't afraid of Cassel making the play.

Anyhow, i am now going to be hooked on this thread and thanks to the founders of it. Trash talking coming soon.

By the way, i don't know how much everyone else must suffer through Cowboys games.(I'm in dallas, and the cowboys suck) I would assume quite a bit because they are the largest, most followed sports franchise in the world. But anyhow, (they suck) has anyone else noticed that Tony (Homo) Romo looks exactly like the Waterboy when smiling inside their helmets. I have been trying for a couple of weeks now to get a photo from the interweb of Homo smiling through the front of his helmet and one of Adam Sandler doing the same to make a great little motivational poster. (Cowboys suck) Anyone got those by any chance or noticed that?

Anybody think that Wade Philips may have a tattoo on his Arse?

Oh I can deal w/ the Jets beating them it was a 50/50 split and the Jets needed OT to do it w/ more then 3 of the Patriots best players on IR or out for the season on both sides of the ball.

If Brady went to another team I would follow that other team but I would not get involved w/ that teams rivalries w/ other teams. If it came down to choosing an Avatar for my football season it would be of the Patriots.. my TEAM not just one PLAYER.

It only shows your not a Jets fan or a Packers fan your just a brett Favre fan. You didn't say one thing about the Jets all last year but as soon as Brett goes there its Whooo whoooo jets beat the Patriots

We're not crying about it. How terrible would the Jets be if they didn't have Jenkins, Favre, Pace, Thomas Jones, Revis, and some backups? They'd be ****ing pathetic. That's how the Pats are right now and it took OT for the "big bad" Jets to beat them; if the Jets were as good as you say, they should've won 45-0.

I really hope Favre is around next year.. so Brady can kick his ass again. I think you remember '06 in Green Bay. You know, when the Pats kicked your beloved Favre's ass, 35-0, and knocked him out of the game.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell my fellow Patriots fans (Mainly Redline).. I've converted my gf to a Patriots fan.

She never really paid attention to football until I met her last January, she started watching it bc I talked about the Pats so much. Now she likes the Pats.. and hates the Jets.

Her brothers (Broncos fans) have said i've brainwashed her since she said she watched the Pats/Jets game with me and said she didn't want to the Jets to win bc "they suck.. they're terrible and their coach is a rat"

I know it sounds ridiculous but a sports study that came out earlier this year shows that the largest and most followed team in any sport in the U.S. is the Cowboys followed by the Yanks. There was only one other football team in the top 10 if i remember correctly.

Explain why else to me, that Romo's pinky has been the most reported on pinky in the history of sports? People either love the Cowboys or love to see the Cowboys in peril.

And to talk to the bandwagon point. I became a Pats fan when Bledsoe went there from College. And was upset at the way he was treated when Brady first came on the scene after the internal injury to Bledsoe. Then Bledsoe went to the Cowboys and i actually watched them on TV regularly, but not as a Cowboys fan, only as a Bledsoe fan. It just sucks that Bledsoe has always had anvils for feet! By the way, do you guys think that Bledsoe is Hall of Fame material? I can give you stats if necessary to prove your decisions.

I dont have sand in my vag Im just not a fair weather fan. Im not expecting anything impressive out of the Patriots this season. To many injuries. They wont make it far if the do make the playoffs. Seeing them lose does not bother me but for some reason you think it does I dont quite get that.

What would bother me if I were you is the fact that Cassel has thrown only 37 less yards then the old man. Maybe the air in N.Y is different then in WI

Honestly I dont care its just the fact that now you make a big deal out of the Jets beating the Patriots when last year it didn't seem to matter to you at all about who won that match up. It was the JETS that beat the patriots not Bret. He was not the only player on the field that day or the only one to score points but now your all excited b/c they beat the patriots but you were not sad last season when the patriots beat them twice?

I used to like Hershel Walker when he played for the Vikings back when I was in middle school when I first started to pay attention to football. When he got traded to the Cowboys I didn't become a cowboys fan and get all excited if they beat the Eagles, Giants or Redskins.
