no 12v refrence at solenoid?

Ok Im getting no 12v reference at the solenoid. Ive swapped in a new solenoid, and ignition switch and still nothing. What the hell can I do to tell whats wrong?

its on a 89 iroc with a 2jz swap.

i already told him that. and thats the prob. he just swapped in a tremec and didnt hook it back up. he is on the way home to hook it up now.

he doesnt really have an iroc. its a 91 hatch. and yes irocs blow major wang.
