GT Headlights...oncoming traffic.

I get flashed all the time i just ignore it, i run my fog lights because I think it looks "COOL" and hell if it is legal and DOT approved so Ford produced a factory option i am going to use it...And to be a little bit Vain, 90% of the mustangs around here are V6 with no center lights so i turn mine on to brag i have a GT hahaha.
WHO gives a F(&*^, IF i had a roush setup with lower lights i would run them too!!!
I am thinking of converting all lights (foG and low beam) to HID and never using my brights again lol...I live in Maine and i think people are just not used so seeing "new" clear/clean lighst coming at them...Not as many newer cars around here and they just arn't used to it lol

Ive gotten pulled over for having my fog lights on with my headlights. The sheriff even asked "why didnt you turn your high beams off when I FLASHED you?" and I replied "for the simple fact that I did not have my brights on, those are my fog lights." He then said "its illegal to use your fog lights" and gave me a ticket. Found the statute which clearly states fog lights CAN be used in conjunction with headlights as long as they are DOT approved (New Mexico). Being from the factory they have to be. So I went to court prepared to battle but the ticket was thrown out because the Sheriff was unprofessional and did not show up on time (actual words said to him by the judge in a full court room). Since then I ALWAYS used to use my fog lights with my headlights until now that I got my eleanor grille with the blue bulbs that dont match my headlights. Anyone know where to find Blue headlight bulbs?
02GTRX: Before I did the GT500 front end conversion on my car, I had the same issue as you. I had a cop flash his lights at me, and I was going to hit him with the high-beams, but I just gotten my car and fumbled with the switch, so I didn't get to in time. Sure enough, he turned around, and pulled me over.
I was kind of a smart-*ss with him because of his attitude. When he asked why didn't I turn off my high beams, I said they have to be turned on before I can turn them off. Sure enough, he gave me a ticket, and I took it to court. I took pictures of my car, and I took a brochure from a Ford dealer to compare my car to it, and the ticket was dismissed.
Nowadays, I have a different problem. I added HID lighting to my car, and everyone flashes their lights at me. However, when I hit them with the HID high beams, I shine light into their souls! I can clearly see their faces when we pass each other, and it does not fail to amuse me every time it's happened throughout the course of year now.
I agree with the above post: People ARE always going to bitch, and I wouldn't conform to turning off my fogs. I also think it "looks cool". I'd prefer to be blinded for three seconds than hear a ricer with a fart-can exhaust for one second. IMO, that is infinitely more annoying than someone having their fog lights turned on when there isn't any fog.

look for bulbs that are like 15K on up. the higher the kelvin rating, the bluer it should be.

Hahaha, No no no, you are way off.
12k is like pure purple. I believe 4300k is pure white, 6000k is a light blue, 8k dark blue, 10k dark blue/purplish.
I've never seen a set of HID's that go past 12k.
