Mine is on year #3 no problems yet.
But my suggestion is to save for better known parts.

I bought hawks nodular crank and forged rods with forged probe pistons. for my 306 in my vert. Never had any issues at all

Think he meant balancing issues. Search google for Hawk's Racing cranks and you'll see why he is concerned about it.

I shift 64-6500 and it has seen 7000 rpm by accident.
With new cam this year 6700 rpm.
Balanced @28oz. no problems.
