And maybe a stroker. Have my 80mm coming. Just got my rails and new intake. The thing is HUGE, but wanted runner length to fit 16 injectors. Want to run E85. So it's down for a while because I can never one upgrade at a time. :nonono: This is gonna take a while

Started on the intake. Comes with bosses, but I'm going to put them in straight to keep it simple, and mainly for room. So this is 3 down, 5 to go. Injector cups are coming, and I just got the fuel rail stock yesterday. Have 120's right now, and thinking about maybe another set of 36's or so. Whatever I can find when I get there.

Got the 83mm on 1.1 Could probably even run the 302 through it. Only worried about making 800hp on stock internals. Probably a little over 600 now.

They have two pumps here. Not really close, but only probably 8-9 miles away. May need to get a 55 gal drum. But I did go buy a 22 gal stock tank for the occasion. :D

I think I may have just added another expensive setp to it though. :nonono:

Yeah, you'll definitely need to store the fuel in an airtight steel container. A lot of people with dirtbikes, including me, have been finding out the hard way that even E-10 gasoline goes stale extremely fast in non-sealed (and often plastic) fuel tanks.

Yeah, that's what was worrying me. And trying to keep it at my shop and all the rules and regs I'm sure I'd be breaking. That's was another reason to go EFI. Figured I could flip the tunes back and forth between the two fuels. One of the reasons for the two sets of injectors. Would really want to spend forever trying to tune a 120 lb injector to idle on gas.

Mr357, not sure yet. Kinda fun beating up the SBC guys with a 302.

"Is it a 302 or 351 ?"

"302"

"Oh, 331 or 347 ?"

"302"
:D That was an actual conversation. I don't know. If it has a stroker, will probably be expected to go 5.60's.

To make approximately 800bhp on E-85, assuming a BSFC 30% higher than gasoline at 0.92 and a 90% duty cycle, it will take at least 100lb injectors to do it. It will take 115lbs per injector to handle 800bhp at an 80% duty cycle, so 120lb injectors are about right.

Got my turbo and injector cups now. So I have something to tinker with Sun.

The 36's should be good for a while. Once the car runs 2 yrs from now (), I've got to get the chassis lined out before trying to max those 120's. But then I can up the 36's if I ever needed to.

Yeah, sure it's gonna be a while. But it's not like she's gonna run in the next 6 months :nonono:

True that...

I'm just a little disappointed. It's like the developers have lost interest. 3 years ago when I fist bought my MS they were saying that the sequencer was
"comming soon". Firmware for the MSII hasn't been updated in about a year...

It's getting to the point where I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever see it.
