GT-40 intake hood clearance?

I am about to install a gt-40 intake into my 95 GT. I believe I have to remove to strut bar but there are replacement ones to use with the gt-40. I am wondering if i will still have clearance to use an aftermarket crossmember with the stock hood. Also, if there is room to use a 1 in spacer and crossmember. Lastly, any suggestions on an elbow adapter to use with the gt-40 and 70mm throttle body? Thanks for the help

The gt40 intake will fit with the right after market stb. The explorer version will require cutting down the front bolt flange to keep the bolt head from rubbing.

It will not fit with spacer.

Its the tubular gt40. What elbow did you end up running with your intake?
