Hi I'm Paul, I'm new here and new to mustangs.
I'm 27, I work full time as a union millwright here in the San Francisco bay area, and I love just about anything with an engine in it.
I just picked this car up a few weeks ago for a few reasons:
I needed a somewhat affordable daily driver to replace my tired jeep cherokee.
I wanted something that was more fun to drive than the cherokee, if not almost as fun as my baby, a honda s2000. Luckily fun is much more important than gas milage in my opinion.
Also, I wanted to finally be able to tell my grandfather of 84 who worked for Ford motor company for 43 years "I bought a mustang grandpa!"
Well it took about 2 seconds for me to start falling in love with this car, and I plan to do a few tastefull modifications to it before I consider it approved. The only thing un-stock is the straight pipes with flowmaster 40's.
For some reason this premium gt had the standard wheels on it (with tires almost gone) so i picked up a cheap set of bullits with tires and took her on a cruise down the coast to malibu for memorial day weekend
:
Of course those pic's aren't in malibu, we stopped at pismo beach along the way, the one beach you can drive on.
She wasn't nearly as fun as the s2000 in the twisties of highway 1, but much more comfortable for the long haul, and I can't get enough of that v8 rumble!
