Those wishing to retain their factory warranty, that's who.
I was not referring to upgrading the heads, swappin cams, or doing MAJOR mods. But if you honestly think guys are not going to change their car in any way then those are probably the same guys who arent bent on performance.
To me Ford underpowered the mustang which enabled the aftermarket to be what it is. But anyway,
My biggest point was that you compare factory powered mustangs/camaros/challengers. What are the odds of running against a 100% stock one? To me its slim to none....i never expect a car to be stock. You really think guys dont mod their cars? You seem like the type that "oh my car is acting kinda funny let me take it to the dealer" where as Kurt (revhead347) is gonna mod his car, if something breaks, he'll fix it to avoid the hastle of the dealer, and if its something really serious, then you put it back to stock and then drop it off. Obviously im not referring to putting stock heads/cams back in...but simple **** thats easy to hide.
For instance, you compare a stock mustang to a stock camaro but....

2010 Camaro - L99 Auto. We installed a Corsa exhaust system, Rotofab CAI, and SLP U/D Pulley.
Baseline numbers were 327 RWHP / 340 RWTQ. With a tune only it made 344 RWHP / 362 RWTQ. After installing the Corsa, Rotofab, and pulley it made 363 RWHP/ 376 RWTQ.

And if something happens, its easy to put it back to "stock" then to drop it off at the dealer.
And you claim that Kurt needs a better dealer to do work, yet will turn around and say 99% of dealers will turn u away for modified parts. LOL I've had 3-4 dealers challenge me...and i win every time. WITHOUT coming out of pocket. Its simply not being a bum and laying down for them. They will challenge ANY major warranty work no matter if the car is modified or not...its just a matter of how dumb the owner is to accept it.
With today's technology you dont need hardcore parts to pick up some good power. These arent 5.0's with horrible heads and intakes.
So again, Ford built the mustang to sell a ton of v6's to turn a profit and to provide a V8 mustang that has a huge aftermarket following and something for guys to modify if they choose. Or to drive stock and be somewhat happy. You cant have the best of both worlds....if i was Ford i'd rather build a mustang every year for the next 50 years then to have to keep cutting the program cause we cant sell units.....
but we can brag we make the most n/a HP
Ford is doing it the right way, quit your bitchin. Why would u want them to do something chrysler or gm is doing?!?!?!? Shouldnt gm and chrysler be modeling ford?!
