hey guys, I know exactly what I am doing with my car except the engine. My goal is 700 rwhp. I will get back from deployment next october and then I am going to build my motor. My budget for the motor is 13K so I hope I can reach my goal with this amount. I had a 91 sc in college and really like the sound of them but I dont think I will be able to reach my hp goal with a supercharger. Any shop I have talked to they say go twin turbo but I think the sound of the blow off valve sounds... well gay. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Single turbo. Most power for the money easily. As far as the turbo sounding "gay" you obviously haven't heard a mean ass turbo 5.0 before. Nothing "gay about it

r u going to a different block or do u have a good 1 already.what fuel system
do u have, what tranny, what rear end. do u have a good 8.8.does it have bigger axles in it. if u have all that i would go to a single turbo about a t-76. thier are some nice kits out there.

If you want you motor to sound like its got 700 hp, get a pair of 3.5 inch spintech pro streets. Blowoff valves dont have to sound like paul walker or vin diesel is driving the car...

Do some reading. Its pretty obvious by the way you asked your questions that you dont know much about turbos. Go single, 351+cubic inches and a 76mm or 88mm compressor size. You can do it with a 8.2 deck motor, but expect to be getting your hands dirty, cause with high boost numbers come big headaches.

Not trying to be a dck here just to clear that up, im probly coming off like that, but seriously its the internet There is alot to turbos, and there are a TON of places to do research on them, lots of books you can buy, and other tubro specific forums that you can search on.

well I made up my mind, I'm going with the supercharger route. I got the rear end built I just dont know if a tremec tko 600 will hold down 750hp. I have a local dealer building me the motor while I am deployed for 7 months. The car is getting a new interior and getting painted. I dont know if I want to go a deeper red or go with a ford factory orange. Is there anyone out there making this kind of power than can steer me away from some of the mistakes they made?

Big horsepower is the best way to find flaws in your setup. At 750hp any TINY weak link will be seen. 750hp is a huge investment, just making it into that range is only half the battle. Sounds like your going to be doing a lot of research, and 750 would be easier on a more efficient power adder(turbo), but it's not my car

ask more specific questions. My car dynoed 762rwhp on pump gas and has a whole hell of a lot more left in the motor. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have, but I don't have any answers to the blanket "what did you do wrong" question.

The TKO600 will hold up just fine at 750hp or even 750 rwhp. My "TKO" - the old one that isn't the TKO500 or 600 - is rated at 450 ft-lbs of torque and I've been abusing it on ET Street radials without any issues. Of course the car doesn't hook worth a damn when the pedal is on the floor, which is probably beneficial to the tranny since the spinning rear tires keep from putting all of the force through the ttranny.

true... turbo will be the easiest on the motor... but cost the most...

blower 2nd but it puts a pretty good strain on the crank...

nitrous being the cheapest but it will hit the drive line the hardest and be the hardest on everything

funny how all that works out

If you are speaking rwhp, and you are paying for all the work, i don't think you are going to get it done for 13 grand.

nope... and even if you do it yourself 13K is might get you through the first build... but your going to break ****

500hp shot of the sauce

hitting a motor with a shot that big is more of a head ache then people think
