I am going to undercoat my mustang with por-15 already have it at my house the only thing is i'm worried I dont have enough paint I am suppose to put 2 coats down and one gallon covers 350 sq ft so my question is how many square feet do you guys think is underneath a foxbody mustang

I did my entire underside with a quart. even had enough left over to do my axle and front inner fenders.

Wish i bought a gallon because i would have done my interior and under the fuel tank

I bought 4 quarts of it and metal ready and marine clean, I took the gas tank rearend and working on taking the tranny out and was gonna paint all the way to the firewall. If I like the results and have enough left I was gonna do inside the trunk. how did that turn out on the axle wasnt sure to use the por-15 on it or clean it up and spray paint it?

Wasn't that bad.

A couple in progress pics

thanks alot that give me a pretty good idea of what it should look like, you did all that with one quart! awesome I shouldnt have any problems. I will take some pics of my car while I'm doing it. this question is a little of topic but how much did it cost you to do your disk conversion I was thinking about doing while I have the diff off but I dont know I been doing a little research on it but I dont want to spend a bunch of money and is it really worth it

Cost me a little under $1K total to do my Cobra disk conversion with 13" front brakes and the 11.65" rear brakes. I did use some extras though like SS brake lines front and rear.

Is it worth it?? Yes it is. Visually the car looks better with beefy brakes, but it also stops on a dime. I would do it again.

I might try doing a cheap version if I can for under $200 I think that will be hard though, someone is selling mk7 rear rotors(slotted),calipers, brackets. rotors drilled for 4 and 5 lug for $100. But I dont know if I will have to go through extensive work or turn into a money pit.

Not yet. I haven't pulled the engine out. When i do, i plan on degreasing everything and repainting everything up nice and clean. Just tough to do the way I want with the engine in place
