Trying to find some info on the maintenance and upkeep of a 475 hp Saleen Supercharger on an 07 GT. Can't find a maintenance schedule or service manual for one. Trying to get info through Saleen but so far have not had any luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yes 50,000 miles is the correct oil change they sell the oil on brensspeed that comes in the unit for like fourty five bucks. Alot of guys use the gm type blower oil u can purchase it on ebay for like $10 a bottle which you'll need about one and a half. The stuff brenspeed sells is the same stuff that comes in the blower and they say to change it every 50,000 miles. Not sure on any of the specs of the two oils but im pretty sure they're very close. The check valve is located under the cold air intake and its a allen bolt the oil must be sucked out and replaced a little bit of a pain. Ill look for the directions and send them to you.

89HatchLX, thanks man for the info. If you have some instructs and can send via e-mail here is my address [email protected]. If you need my mailing address let me know Thanks again for the interval on the oil change.

www.modularfords.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=45212 this is the link to the actual saleen series vi supercharger maintenance schedule. If it doesnt load let me know and ill just email you the file.

Tried the link after i posted and it work you can either save it or open the file when it asks. Be sure not to over fill, because it will leak out the snout of the blower and cause belt slip if it comes in contact with the belt. I purrchased the oil from brenspeed.com rather than using the 50W they say to run but they recomend changing it every 5000 miles rather than the 50000 miles. Its also good to check and add everyonce and awhile if u happen to be low but it shouldnt go anywhere unless u got other issues with the blower. Let me know how you make out.

Thanks

89HatchLX, Thank you so much for your help. That is a really good set of service instructions and I could not locate one anywhere. Again thanks and I will keep you posted. Getting to ready to install the Supershaker Hood scoop soon.

Getting to ready to install the Supershaker Hood scoop soon.

Nice addition to the Saleen SC. It allows the air temps to drop faster when the car has been sitting. Most likely from the cooler air going in AND the air flow around the supercharger itself with the hood cut.
