Help? My Ring fell under rear seat

I had the back of the rear seat down to get something stuck in the trunk and my ring fell under the rear seat.
y fingers were cold and ring just slipped off and went between the trunk floor and the back of the rear seat while folded down. I am sure there is a safe way to remove the rear seat, but I don't know what it is. Don't want to struggle with something and mess it up. My car is '95 GT coupe with leather. Thanks for your help.

look along the front edge of the bottom seat cushion.
there should be 2 white plastic tabs,1 on each side.
push cushion down, with a small flat screwdriver, push the tab in,towards the rear of the car,

Thanks, I tried

I could not find any white tabs even when nearly lying down and going along the front edge of the rear seat with a flashlight. I used a putty knife to slide along under the front edge and found a place where the blade stopped, but when I tried to press on whatever was stopping the blade with a flat screwdriver, I got nothing. I replaced a panel on the driver's seat soon after getting the car, and I could go back to that shop and him and ask how he gets the back seat up. Any other ideas? Thanks so much. I normally do things to the car, but just can't find a tab.

It's more like a button. The spot where the screwdriver stopped should have been about in the middle of each of the rear seats. Take a finger and push on that middle area while pushing down on the seat right above where you're pushing. The 'tab' should slide in and you should be able to lift up that side of the rear seat. Repeat the same thing on the other side. Be aware, sometimes this is easy to do; sometimes it's not.

The center seat belt latches will need to be pushed down through the seat before you can remove the pad. You'll have to push them back up through the pad before you re-latch the seat. To re-latch. just line up the pegs on the seat pad with the two locks, and push down.

The releases are there. A few inches in from each side. Try lifting the front edge a bit to see if you can spot them. They are spring loaded which is why they need to be pushed towards the rear of the car to release the seat.

THANKS GUYS - GOT IT

Thanks so much. Once I found the spot and pushed, it popped right up. Thanks for seat belt note. It would have been bad to have left them under and had to do it again. If the world worked like our forum, it would be a much better place.:nice:
