Ok need some Nitrous Advice...

Just to be clear, in the beginning, god loved the world, so he gave us wet kits. Then NOS designed the dry nitrous kit, because wet kits were blowing up the new EFI long runner intakes. If there was no danger in a wet kit, the dry kit would have never been designed in the first place. So, the motivation was safety. The byproduct was inherit better fuel atomization associated with a dry kit.

Even so, why do you strongly recommend spending money converting a working dry kit into a wet kit? The dry kit works fine the way it is. Why waste the cash.

not true. you can go much higher than 150 on a dry kit but it cost MORE than a wet kit. you just need a custom setup as i described above. its really a matter of opinion. there is no one is better than the other. both have their pros and cons.
 
didnt mean to start an argument here, lol. And hollywood didnt know sorry. But yeah I got the edelbrock pump from cjpony because they had a special. For every 100 you spend 30 gift card, lol. I did think about the wet kit but was scared of blowing the manifold off like people said.

Installation is about the same. The dry kit has more parts, and costs more to make. Wet kits worked fine for years with carbs. When the long runner intakes came in with EFI, engines started puddling fuel up in the intake with a wet kit. You can spray up to about 225 on a dry kit with some custom work. After that, you just run out of fuel pressure. You can't spray any more than 225 through a single nozzle wet kit anyway.

if you ditch the nitrous regulator and go with a single solenoid you can run more than 225. that is if you have a block that can handle it and injectors that can supply the fuel. its all in the tune. mainly the maf transfer.

Yeah, you can just run two really big solenoids too. I've never heard of going more than 225, but that's an interesting concept. I think there comes a time when you just have to step up to a fogger or plate to keep the system more realistic.

there is no point arguing opinions, wet kit is more expensive than a dry kit-fact. wet kit is basicly a dry kit minus that regulator thing that jumps up the fuel pressure, but also has a fuel soliniod and fuel lines.

The dry kit comes with two solenoids plus the fuel pressure booster, the wet kit just comes with 2 solenoids. That's more components in the kit. I would assume that more components means more cost.

GTA bought my kit today, i give him the brand new newer style bottle and the kit brand new in package and the billet adjustable bracket, he will be doing 75hp shot to start,

He did researched it found out that 'Dry' kit fit his need more then the 'Wet' kit, and i also told him that later on he can switch to "wet" kit from dry if he choose to. so there it goes,

There are always pro's and con's with everything and i think he made a smart decision for himself, i also run dry kit 150hp and i do not have any problem, I run it twice or three times every-week at local 1/8th mile track,
 
most people think you need to step up on the injector size for a dry kit but thats not true in most cases. the typical off the shelf dry kit runs on elevated pressure at the fuel rail. obviously the increased pressure makes the injector spray more than it would at stock pressure. therefore you chose your injector based on your N/A requirements. the only time you would need to run larger injectors on a dry kit is if you have a custom kit that you run on stock fuel pressure. in that case you would much larger injectors than required for your N/A requirements along with a custom nitrous tune. it can be done but its not very common. just get the pump and you will be good to go.

thats right....i was running a zex dry kit 100 shot on top of my 323/341 hci motor on 24lbs, no prob
