67 Fastback trunk trim issue

Hello,

Can someone tell me how to remove/install the trunk lid molding clips? The holes in the trunk outer skin don't go all the way through.

I purchased a replacement trim that came with clips; they require a nut to be tightened from the other side... WTF?????

The FB moulding clips have a nylon center pin. Push it through the clip and the clip will come out easily.

The moulding you received is either the wrong one, a coupe moulding, or at least has the coupe hardware with it. Check the moulding, and call your vendor. They should send you the proper clips at no charge.
