So I’ve had this car for 25+ years. It’s been at my parents house and has less than 500 since we’ve had it. I’m installing a new motor and Borgeson steering gear. I went to hook up the center link, tiered ends and pitman arm… long story short… a previous owner removed the 66 power steering and replaced the c.link with one from a 67. They’re definitely different. The car drove pretty straight with no shakes but I can’t get it connected to the Borgeson system simply because the 67 c.link tapered hole on the passenger side for the tie rod is tapered in the wrong direction. Does anyone have any idea whet I can do? Would a 66 manual steering center link work? Thanks in advance.
