Is the Clutch suppost to be that Stiff?

I found a McLeod RST Twin Disc Starting at: $900.00

and

SPEC Stage 1 Clutch (Mid 01-04 Mustang GT, 99-04 Cobra, and 03-04 Mach 1) For: $234.99

So here's the plan: Let mine show some signs of breakdown (smell etc) but get a new cable right away.

6 owners is alot, but some people buy and sell cars all the time, I have a neighbor that has had 6 cars in the last 2 years...he takes really good care of them but I think he just gets tired of them. Sports cars are cars that seem to get passed around alot....people buy them and a year later they want something bigger, so I wouldn't worry too much about being the 6th owner.

You should be able to get a stock type replacement McLeod for about 350.

Pretty sure he wants the twin disc because it will lighten up the pedal.

A brand new stock clutch/McLeod will be significantly lighter then the worn out stock clutch. Save the difference and if its still too heavy then spend the difference on a gym membership which at that point would be badly needed.

I did a new cable and firewall adjuster on mine. It's still a strong pull, but worlds better!
