Took some of the plastic strips off of the sides

It was cold outside and took 4 hours, but it already looks better. I only did the four small ones on the fenders, I'll get the doors when I get a chance. The only bad part is I can see a ghost of the outline if I get right up to it. Anyway to fix that other than a repaint?

Wipe the living hell out of it with some Goo-Gone. You could even try using some rubbing compound on it.

I used 3M Adhesive Remover and Maguiar's polish on it. I think all of the adhesive is gone. I'm afraid the paint may have faded everywhere except for what was under the strips.

Something that has been on there that long probably is going to leave a slight outline. I'd just try my best to get it off.
