Im putting in a t rex fuel pump and it says in the trunk to tap the red/purple wire or on some cars its a brownish green wire for the pump. Well i have a fat red wire with a black spripe 2 fat black wires and a smaller yellowish green not brownish at all. Can anyone help with this?

While i can't help with the t rex, i can save you some future issues.
Skip the trex and just use an in tank gss340 high pressure walbro pump.
All the trex pump does is complicate a very simple situation.

i am running out of fuel using a non-walbro 255 lph pump.

do these pumps support 450+ rwhp with a single application? i am looking at the t-rex as well for helping to cure my lean issue past 5300 rpm's. you think they flow enough fuel to void out the need for a secondary pump?

You have to be using the gss340 HP version, should support over 500rwhp, on one car i seen it supporting 513rwhp.

There is also a non high pressure unit, which is probably what you have. BTW, most pumps regardless of the name on it, are made by walbro.

i have one sold by high flow fuel systems or whatever. they have a chart that shows flow comparisons of a walbro gss340 and their pump. they show it outflowing the walbro..

regardless, i ordered a walbro to try and fix my issue. hope it works..
