The length is what you would have to worry about, go to a dealership and measure. I could actually measure mine if you want me to.
I personally really do not like the black plastic look on a car that is not black. Just like people whom get a chin spoiler and dont paint it. Yeah it could, COULD; get rock ships etc. But painted just looks much better, and a careful driver will do his best to avoid putting his car in a situation where it could get rock chips
Go for the painted look, I can measure my side skirts for you, and get some close up pics, mounting wholes, positioning, etc. if you would like.

I hate old cars as well...so, them having unpainted parts makes me hate them even more. Poor ricer boys that buy a body kit and cant afford to paint it. That is all that comes to mind.

just brought back memories of my 3rd Mustang, a 87 GT with a full smattering of Cervinis parts. Never got painted, got hit, got chopped up. Sure was embarrassing to be rolling with a 5 color car, especially when it had a fresh H/C/I'd motor in it, 5 lug swap, full suspension etc... but it looked like ass so it got no respect. Unpainted nice body parts FTL
You're missing out dude...
