HI, i just bought a 2000 mustang gt manual and i realized that when the car is on the RPM goes up or down, its not steady, and when im on a light and im just waiting for the light to change the RPM goes really down almost to shut down the car, Can somebody help me please ? i thought that with a Fuel injection cleaner was going to stop but it didn't stop.

Thanks for the Help !

If i Buy the JLT Performance Cold Air Intake (96-04 GT) do i still have to clean the AIC and MAF ? or that would eliminate that part ?

A CAI retains the MAF and IAC. They are essential to how your engine runs.

Your local auto parts store carries a simple MAF cleaner. Its just an aerosol solution that you spray your MAF sensor with.

As far as cleaning your IAC, this should help....

grasshopper, to answer that question you need to tells us why the RPM's are bouncing.

If for example the root cause is a bad PCV valve, then installing a new TB will not fix the base problem.

If the problem is an upper intake vacuum leak or weak ignition, then a new TB will not fix the problem.

On the other hand, if the base problem is loose or worn throttle butterfly linkage, then a new TB would improve the reported symptom.

Are you just looking for justification to upgrade?

OBTW, +1 on clean the MAF.
