Well, a couple weeks or so ago I posted up a miss fire issue on my 96' GT. I thought I had the issue worked out but didn't.

The mechanics of the problem is that I have a P0175 code (rich bank 2). I can hook up live link and look at all 8 cyl's and see that every single cyl on bank 2 has random misfires. At this point, I have tested and replaced every single thing I can think of. 2 new coil packs, new wires. FP is good I have done a compression test on all cyls which is good. I even replaced the EGR valve.

I tried switching the front O2's to see if maybe there was a bad one on bank 2 but the situation is the same. I'm totally lost with this one. I also had extra CKP CSP sensors that I tried.

Is there any at all possibility that I could be dealing with some sort of cam timing issue?

Like I said before in my other posts. The motor is a 04' PI engine that had around 69K on it when installed and ran perfect until about 2 weeks ago.

I'm pretty new to the whole live link data logging stuff. I would be nice to know what PIDS to use that would point me into the right direction of the issue.

Let talk this out. I have help 3 ppl so far where there motor had one side 180 degrees out of time. The usual symptom is it idles ok but does not make good power. In two cases, raw fuel came out of one side. In another case, a temperture reading of the exhaust manifold showed a huge difference in temperature between the sides.

If the motor was out of time, why would it work fine for a while and then not? To me, it seems more like something changed.

That something could be the timing chain adjusters on the right side. However, the reported mileage on your motor is a little low for that sort of thing.

Any noise from the timing chains?

However, based upon my personal experience, if this were my car, I would get an oil filter cutter and inspect the oil filter element for bits of metal.

After already having problems with one fuel injector, consider having them all cleaned and flow tested. I have had great luck with injectorrx.com. Once cleaned and tested, they are as good as new. Cheaper than new.

I could see a case where a single stuck open injector could cause this. Remember, the PCM can only control the fuel trim values for an entire bank. If one injector is dumping fuel, then the PCM resonds by leaning the entire bank.

What do the spark plugs look like? Any carbon fouling or signs of running rich?

Any exhaust leaks?

What about vacuum leaks? Focus especially hard on the right side of the motor. PCV valve, PCV line, PCV grommet, oil cap, valve cover gaskets.

What are the long term fuel trim (LTFT) bank 1 and 2 values doing at idle and under load?

Some chain noise at start up when it has not been started in a day or so. When I had the engine on the stand and had the front cover off I inspected the guides and they looked good. Hard to say about the adjusters as they were not pumped.

I looked and looked for vac leaks. I'm going to try and smoke it and make sure tho.

As far as LTFT values. bank 2 is always higher in value. I will data log it again tonight and see what they are for certain.

I never messed with the chains or guides when I had the cover off and the only reason I had it off in the first place was because I had to swap my NPI cover over to it to use my coil packs.

No exh. leaks.

EDIT: What's the chance of having a bad computer? I feel like a total newb here. This may be my first mod motor Mustang, but certainly not my first and certainly not my first trip down repair lane on a car or truck. It's frustrating as hell. I can usually systematicly figure issues like this out with ease.
