After graduating from high school about a month ago I've finally saved up enough money to go ahead and do my 5 lug swap. So now I'm just trying to get a list of everything I'm going to need. I'll be doing Bullitt/Cobra brakes all the way around while still using my stock rear end. Here's my list so far(just off the top of my head):

Front end:
Rotors(got em)
Calipers(have a few questions here)
Brackets
94-95 spindles
94-98 front ball joints(liked this idea instead of stacking washers)

Rear end:
I'll need the bracket that bolts to the axle flange
Rotors(got em)
Calipers(will regular V6/GT calipers work, or...?)
Passenger side shafts from a Ranger(7.5, 28 spline correct?)
Anti-moan brackets

I know I'll need the new master cylinder/booster, but from what? If I'm lucky enough to find a 94-04 Cobra, can I just use everything from it? If I can't find one in a junkyard, where should I look? Also, calipers. Can I just buy the fully loaded ones from Rock Auto? Or should I try and find them elsewhere? I'll need a new e-brake cable(mines all screwed up), and I'll need new brake lines for the rear correct? Anything I'm missing here? Am I better off spending my time going through junkyards looking for parts? Or should I just buy things from Rock Auto, etc? Sorry for asking questions about something that's so commonly discussed. I'm just trying to make sure I have everything and I'm trying to get it all as quickly as I can so I can start installing it. Thanks in advance guys

rear calipers will work with a Northern racing bracket. the V6 and Gt are the same 94-04. Fronts. depends on what you are wanting to run. I have the 99-04 PBR dual pistons on mine which will require a little grinding on the spindles but nothing big. I used a spacer that was the adequate spacing. I already put MOOG ball joints for the fox on so I didn't want to toss money out. Someone on here makes and sells the spacers.

which rear rotors you use will be determined by which rotor you use, at least somewhat. the gt/v6 calipers are the same as the cobra's, but the cobras use a thinner pad and a different anti-moan bracket (there may be more, all i know off the top of my head).

for brackets, you can use the stock sn brackets if you cut and flip them. do search on this one, i know both here and corral have threads on this with pics of what to do.

if you can, i would definitly salvage most of this over buying new (except the wear parts). even the gt/v6 stuff is far better than what came on the fox, plus it can fit drag wheels easier than cobra stuff.

per your question about a booster, weren't some of those hydro boost? I just know this because my brother 04 GT is, not sure about the other years.

Modular V8 ones are, the V6's still use vacuum assist. If you want to keep stock length axles, you will need to buy the Northern Race Car brackets (like $150) or modify the stock disc brackets. This is what I did, and its not that hard.

You want a master cylinder from a 94-95 car...the V6 and V8 are the same all the way through. You can use a booster out of a 94-94 car, V8 or V6, or a booster out of a 96+ V6 car (I used a 04 V6 booster and a 95 V6/V8 master cylinder). The Cobra uses a different setup, and I would think you would want to stay with a Cobra MC and BB if you're using those brakes (someone may chime in here). If you can get the calipers from the junkyard as well, they are pretty easy, and cheap, to rebuild. I had never done one before, but used guides found on the internet to do them.

If you used 94-95 rear calipers and hoses, then all you need are some inexspensive adapters to make your stock lines fit on the rear. You will have to do a little rebending to get them in the right spot. As for parking brakes, it depends on the year of your car. My 93 was easy to do and all it required was a set of 93 Cobra parking brake cables (from RockAuto) and the FRPP adjustable brake cable (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FMS-M-2810-A/). However, I helped a guy a few weeks ago install a complete setup out of a 95 Cobra on an 89 GT. His parking brake cable setup is COMPLETELY different. We haven't tackled a fix for it yet, which I think will include robbing some brackets off a newer car.

This is a relatively easy swap to do. Just don't get frustrated when you find yourself constantly trying to run down miscellaneous parts every other day. Good luck with it.

I'll be using Bullitt rotors all the way around(same as Cobra). So I can just use the V6 rear calipers then for those rotors? And all I need to do is get the Cobra anti-moan bracket and use the thinner pads?

Find a junked 94-98 V6 rear end for the axle shafts. 7.5 & 8.8 shafts are the same.

Still only using the passenger side shafts right?

for the calipers, i think so, you MIGHT need the cobra brackets, but iirc the rotors are the same diameter, just thicker and vented on the cobra. havent done it, but seen several who have, and is my plan once a drum conversion is back on the top of the priority list.

the 94-98 rear is going to be 1.5" wider than the stock setup, the housing and axle tubes are the same, but the shafts are longer. if you use the right offset wheel, its not really a problem (the m2300k kit uses this setup), and you can use the stock unmodified brackets. both sides will be the same length.

If you use the axle shafts from the 94-98 then you can use the calipers and brackets from the same without having to buy an additional mounting bracket.

That only applies to ranger/aerostar (not sure which is which). when using 94-98 mustang rear axles you can use both the drivers and passenger side on the fox. As mentioned above it will just move the rear track width out. I did this on my 89 and used the rear discs from a 96 I think. I am not sure on the bullitt rear calipers and rotors though. I think as far as bolting them on you will be good to go but might need the specific rotor on it.

just find a junked 94-96 car and use EVERYTHING. if you want upgrade the front calipers to the twin piston PBR calipers from a new edge car and then call it a day. no real need to source parts from multiple cars when you can one stop shop.

Modify the rear caliper brackets so you can flip them around. Sn axles are the same length as ranger axles. Its the caliper brackets that push the overall width out.

Ranger axles are the same as stock fox axles not SN axles. SN axles (both 94-98 and 99-04) are longer than both the fox and ranger axles and will push the wheels further out creating a wider stance. The caliper brackets from an SN are made to accomodate the extended lengths and is why they don't work without modification on the ranger axles. As stated above, northern also makes the bracket that will work. Good luck.
