But not the right? That's right....their engines were built by Mercruiser if I rectal? I'd still give my left nut for one though.

Ha when I was young and that car was new I had a model. We're having a beer and discussing the new toy while looking at a 96 Gran Sport die cast.
I can't help thinking about Rogain dispenser nozzles in the dome light. I keep chuckling and she keeps asking me "what"?
I dying to spill the beans but biting my tongue.
Yeah the 4.6 was horsesh*tOh, no doubt....but not so full of problems they were scrapped in their entirety. The must have had more success than failure with them for GM to hang onto them for as long as they did?
Ok....now that you've got that out of your system., take a breath.
As big a POS as "your" car may have been in it's entirety (not sure what power windows and HVAC controls have to do with the engine), the Northestar line of engines as a whole was successful. Hell....GM kept them around for 19-years....so they must not have been all that bad?
..instead of coasting along with the paltry 4.6L engine platform they clung onto for far too long...about 5-10-years too long IMO.
Im gonna put that one in my back pocketTrue. You know the old joke. What's the difference between a porcupine and a Corvette?
The Porcupine has the pricks on the OUTSIDE.
Reminds me of and episode from the first season of Top Gear where they mention the MG/Rover ZT260 that was fitted with a "Mustang engine". The crowd goes "ooooh" and Clarkson just shakes his head and says, "it's not a good engine." How true.Yeah the 4.6 was horsesh*t

I'm re-watching the whole series. I remember that from an early episode. They mention an MG that's getting a Mustang engine. Even they knew the mod motor wasn't anything to write home about.Ha! Yeah?
